GeometricGlasses

I am a 2D vector animator, character artist and graphic designer with a specialisation with vector based tools and programs. I've been taking private art commissions for around 6 years now and always aim to provide my clients with their vision. I try to offer both fair prices, open communication and a wide range of flexibility for adjusting the work you order from me.Please be aware my 'art' page has many large images and animations that may be ill-advised to view while using mobile data.

FAQ

Commission Related

Q: Are you open for commissions?
Please check the pinned journal on FurAffinity.
-Q: How long should my commission take?A: This varies due to my physical disability and mental health, if you have a specific date you want something by please let me know.-Q: I haven't paid yet and want to back out of a commission, is this okay?A: If I have started your commission I will ask to keep the amount equivalent to what I have done.
If you're on my waiting list and I haven't yet started then that's perfectly fine.
-Q: What will/won't you draw?A: Anything artistic, meaningful or to tell a personal message is my favourite, the limitations of this are minimal.
Machines are difficult for me to do but not impossible.
-Q: I want something that isn't listed in your examples, any chance you could do it?A: The best way to find out is to ask me, but I'm almost always up to trying something new at least once.-Q: I want to commission you but I don't know what I want.A: Something I hear quite often but this is perfectly fine! If you're happy with anything then you're free to give me complete control over the art direction.-Q: I want to commission you something highly specific, is it okay if I explain what I want in detail?A: Short answer, yes. However using images, (be them collage, or crude MS Paint doodles I don't mind) can really help me get a better idea of what you're looking for from me. Please don't be afraid to give me as many details as you want, but using images speaks a thousand more words than any paragraphs you send me.-Q: Can I have alt versions of my vector artwork I commission from you?A: If it's created in Anime Studio yes that's likely very easy to do with zero limitations on the resolution of the final rendered file. Very simple alt versions are free, more complex ones may induce a complexity fee.-Q: Is asking for a slot a guarantee that I'll get one?A: No. My time spent working is sporadic and limited, so I often only accept commissions I have confidence I could capture well. If I reject one idea you're free to suggest another however.-Q: Would you be interested in making art/animations for me long term for a project?A: Possibly.
You would first have to be the either the appointed member of the project to be able to discuss such things with me, or the head curator themselves.
You would need to offer me some kind of contract or agreement to secure my payment.
I would have to know the exact details of what you are planning for me to do along with how you would cover any additional time spent communicating edits or additional work.
I would also require my name listed in the credits of the final work.
Further details would be discussed in private.

Technical

Q: What programs do you use?A: Anime Studio Pro 11 for all animations.
Shotcut for video editing, colour correction and formatting.
Photoshop and FireAlpaca for other art, GIF compiling and editing etc.
-Q: Can you teach me to animate?A: My knowledge is not up to date to modern standards and I wouldn't feel comfortable teaching it to another. I learnt more through having animated for around 12 years now and a lot of trial and error.

Personal

Q: What's your gender?A: Male.-Q: How old are you?A: Too old for this body, too young for this life.-Q: What is your sona?A: I am otherkin/fictionkin, my presentation is not a sona but simply how I see and believe myself to be. I am no longer part of these communities, but my identity remains.-Q: Why do you upload art slowly?A: I have very weak wrist tendons and emotional/mental struggles with art in particular. Patience is appreciated.-Q: Why did you block me?A: You are either a person who has harassed and targeted me or you favourited a lot of my harasser's artwork and I'd feel safer not having you in contact with me.
